How It Transforms
A discreet drawstring is built into the waistband on the slit side of the skirt. Pull it up until the skirt reaches your desired length and the fabric gathers towards the top, leaving the slit at the bottom for extra freedom of movement.
Once you've found your preferred length, simply tie the drawstring to hold it in place and adjust the gathers as needed.
To return to the full-length maxi, just untie the drawstring and pull the skirt down to release the gathers and straighten the fabric.
