1. Mermaid Skirt Style
Let the skirt flow into its elegant mermaid silhouette, with the chikankari detailing creating a sophisticated, subtly sheer effect.
2. Short A-Line Style
Convert the skirt into a shorter A-line silhouette for a playful, comfortable look that gives you more freedom to move, dance and have fun.
How It Transforms
The transformation is hidden within the waistband.
· The skirt has straps attached inside the waistband on both sides.
· The skirt is made with plain cotton up to the knees, with the chikankari fabric flowing below.
· To create the short style, lift the skirt and fold the plain cotton section inwards, bringing the chikankari section up towards the waist.
· On each side, pull the attached straps through the holes in the chikankari fabric — one slightly towards the front and the other slightly towards the back.
· Tighten the straps on both sides to create soft gathers and adjust the fit around your waist.
· Tie a knot on each side to secure the shorter skirt in place.
· To return to the mermaid style, simply undo the knots and release the folded section.
